Terms and Conditions

The terms for using the ytplaytime.com YouTube tools: acceptable use, estimates and third-party data, your API key, licences for music, availability and liability.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses this website and its tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

The site provides free tools that read public YouTube data, run calculations and generate text suggestions, plus a blog and guides. No account is needed. Tools may be added, changed or removed at any time.

2. Acceptable use

  • Use the tools lawfully and in line with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • Do not automate requests, scrape the site, circumvent rate limits, or use our API as the backend for another service.
  • Do not use the comment, title or hashtag generators to produce spam, misleading metadata or bulk comments.
  • Do not use the tools to harass, track or profile individual people.
  • Do not attempt to access private content you have not been granted access to. The tools cannot do this, and we will not help.

3. Estimates and third-party data

Earnings, watch-time, monetization-readiness, SEO, sentiment and visibility results are estimates or heuristics based on public data and published benchmarks. They are not financial advice and not statements from YouTube. YouTube data is provided by Google; dislike estimates by Return YouTube Dislike; archive captures by the Internet Archive. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness or availability. Verify anything important before relying on it.

4. Your own API key

If you supply a YouTube Data API key, you are responsible for complying with Google's terms for that key and for any quota it consumes. The key is used only for your request and is not stored.

5. Content and licences

Video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, comments and channel details belong to their owners and are shown only to answer your request. The royalty-free music catalogue lists third-party tracks under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0; your right to use a track comes from that licence, including its attribution requirement, not from us. The site's own text, design and code are ours and may not be copied without permission.

6. Availability

The service is provided free and as-is. It depends on third-party services and a shared YouTube quota, so tools can be slow or temporarily unavailable. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of results from the tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Links

Results link to YouTube and other websites we do not control and are not responsible for.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
