Paste a public channel URL — youtube.com/@name, /channel/UC..., /c/name or /user/name — and press "Calculate Channel Length". The tool reads the channel's public uploads list and sums each video's duration into one total.
No, and the difference matters. This page measures channel content duration: how many hours of video the channel has published. YouTube Studio's watch time is analytics about how long viewers actually watched. A channel can have 300 hours of content and very little watch time, or the reverse.
Public items on the uploads list are included whenever YouTube exposes a duration, so Shorts usually count. Live streams that are still running and upcoming premieres have no final length yet, so they are listed as unavailable and excluded from the total.
Channels are walked in segments of up to 1,000 uploads per request to stay within the API quota and keep the response fast. When a channel has more, the result says so and offers a "Load the next videos" button that extends the total segment by segment.

No account. The site's shared API access covers normal use. If the shared quota is temporarily busy you can paste your own YouTube Data API v3 key in Advanced options.
